INGREDIENTS –

  • 500g – Beef
  • 1tsp – paragon spices black pepper (cracked)
  • Half a lime
  • 1 red onion (120g)
  • 6 green chillies
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • Small piece of ginger
  • ½ tsp – Turmeric powder
  • Olive oil
  • Salt as you need (about 1 ½ tsp)

COOKIN INSTRUCTIONS –

First cut the beef in to small cubes and then add turmeric and salt to marinate. Mix all together and leave it for about 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, Slice the onion into thin slices and cut the green chilli in to big pieces. Put ginger and garlic together and crush it to make a paste.

Heat a pan over high heat and add beef into the pan. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for about 5 minutes and open the lid and stir it well to avoid burning. After stirring close the lid and leave it for another 5 minutes.

Now add olive oil and stir well and cook it until the beef cubes turn in to nice light brown colour. Then add chopped ginger and garlic, turn the heat down and cook 2 minutes.

After add onion and chillies mix it all together and cook for another 3 minutes.

Now turn the heat off and add crushed black pepper and lime juice. Mix it well and add salt if needed.

Serve with rice. Perfect for lunch.
